BRIXHAM ROTARIANS PUT DISPLAY TRAILER TO USE AS SWABBING STATION
The Rotary Club of Brixham has thanked Rotary District for lending the use of their display trailer to provide a Covid-19 swabbing station.
President, Adrian Laurie, said: “I was delighted to ask District for the use of the vehicle in this way when Jaci Evans, one of our members who cover both Mount Stuart Hospital in Torquay and Exeter Medical, came up with the idea.
“District also saw this as another of the many ways in which Rotary clubs help their communities, and the trailer was made available immediately.
“Before the complete lockdown, I was able to collect the trailer and deliver it to Mount Stuart Hospital in Torquay and then move it to its current location at Exeter Medical, where it is being used to swab patients for coronavirus, prior to their procedures.
